Michael and the guys spent their morning in Paihia on this beautiful summers morning. These guys are so neat, they travelled from all about the show to be here for Michael and Jen. There were many people at the house, their families, their children with a whole bunch of happy in the air. Hello hellloooo,

As I am sitting here editing the last few weddings for the season it is apparent and reminded how your whole wedding day is important in every way. Your days are made of many memories. Coralie and Craig's beautiful Northland wedding was a personal favourite for us and a day that meant so much to many! Why does this wedding stand out personally to me? The moments, the couple, the family (oh my gosh do I adore them) and all the personal touches that made everything very special. Coralie and her special people spent the morning with parents Olive and Tony, yes I absolutely want to keep them too. The house where she grew up in had all the special memories right there as we were making more every minute of the morning. Dad - Tony, was outside when I arrived bringing fruit in from the property, Mum was radiantly smiling and the feeling around the house was absolutely contagious! From the special touches, hand made items, and beautiful family photographs, one thing to the next there was a story, a memory, the fireplace that Dad made after they collected stone on their travels. I tell you we were in a family memory heaven all day!! What more to say but we were privileged to spend the day with this beautiful family and I will not drive past in the future without saying hi. Thank you for reminding us all about family, memories and love for one another deep into our hearts. Kaeja and Gerard - Wedding - Carrington

Gosh, where to start Kaeja and Gerard.........Surrounded with only those of great laughter and happiness, your lead up to the ceremony was so chilled and relaxed, gave you time to enjoy the moments and we loved spending time with you all very much. Teary eyes were there as you married and a real sense of family and belonging. A wee trip to the beach in winter winds was not stopping your crew and I think we both had as much fun as all of you, enjoying you being so happy. Thank you for having us to be part of such a precious day to you both, it was an honour and a pleasure. Wishing you many laughs, good love and happiness in your future together, Kathy and Amy xx

Tareha + Ihipera - Wedding day, northland

Tareha and Ihipera married in Karetu, Northland, also where Ihipera's parents married all those years ago. The moment I met these two, I just knew their wedding day would be all too special, they were just the best!. We drove to their marae where family and friends were hands on with preparations to give these two a day to remember and that is was!

Tareha and Ihipera, I hope you enjoyed your wedding day as much as we all did. Everything about your wedding, your beautiful family and friends were simply beautiful. Congratulations to a very special couple. You two, your wedding and guests will always be big in our hearts, we feel truely grateful to have been there along side you.  Kathy and Amy xx

Tareha and Ihipera both had suites at the Waterfront Suites in Paiihia for getting ready on their wedding day. Their Bay of Islands wedding ceremony was in Karetu, Northland. Tareha, Ihipera, their friends and family celebrated at Alongside in Paihia for their reception.

Ayla + Derek

Wow!!! Derek and Ayla's Wedding was surely a day of fabulousness!! The love was oozing from each and every direction. Derek's family joined them all the way from Ireland, Ayla's family had been preparing the property well prior to their wedding day alongside, and everything was looking beyond fantastic. Immediately it was so very clear to me that Derek and Ayla had as much support and love from them all as ever possible.

It is such an amazing feeling to be there with a couple, to see their family and friends at their very closest and to also share their joy. For me personally, I could not get enough of Derek and Ayla's amazing extended family and I felt honoured to share their wedding with them also.

So many moments stand out from their day, the excitement on Mum's face to see her daughter getting ready, Dad's grin while walking Ayla down the Isle was 100% unbreakable and the roars of laughter too as he showed Derek his love on giving his daughter away to him. Their celebrant Robyn was truly fantastic, she is a friend and made this so special for them both, and their flowers were so beautifully put together by Kim, grown in Derek and Ayla's own garden. Derek's Mum and Dad also grinned the whole day long and took turns to be able to snuggle with the gorgeous Cillian, they are certainly in love with him very much.

A lovely morning, the most beautiful ceremony, and a fun filled afternoon of lawn games and chatter started the reception off well. The bar was fully stocked, dinner was fabulous by the crew at Ake Ake, and speeches made us all laugh very much and even tear up at times. 

Congratulations to you both Derek and Ayla, you deserve all the happiness life has to offer in the future together xx

Joe and Amanda

A wee snippet of Joe and Amanda's special day. There was fun from the morning until the early hours,. Surrounded with family and friends these two had a most fabulous day. It was wonderful to share your day with you my friends, thank you for having us there with you to celebrate xx

Adam + Laura

Adam and Laura just beam happy goodness and when I met their family and friends it was apparent they were surrounded with much happiness, love and support from all those around them too. It was lovely to see Laura's family who had travelled such great lengths across the world to be here for them and secretly I could of adopted Laura's Mum, Dad and Grandmother to keep all to myself - they seriously are the bees knees! Laura, your smile is infectious, you are such a beautiful person and it was my absolutely pleasure to be there on your wedding day and to share the morning with you and your fantastic ladies. Adam had spent much time preparing the grounds and all the details to make this day very special and perfect for both themselves and their guests. Your vows were very much yours, such laughter as that is the fun loving people you are, and heart and soul as that is the loving couple you are. Congratulations Adam and Laura xx
