Northland Wedding Morning - Michael and the boys

2018-05-10_0004.jpg

Michael and the guys spent their morning in Paihia on this beautiful summers morning. These guys are so neat, they travelled from all about the show to be here for Michael and Jen. There were many people at the house, their families, their children with a whole bunch of happy in the air. Thanks guys, you all looked great, had super smiles and made Michael and Jen's day, Kathy x

Tareha + Ihipera - Wedding day, northland

Tareha and Ihipera married in Karetu, Northland, also where Ihipera's parents married all those years ago. The moment I met these two, I just knew their wedding day would be all too special, they were just the best!. We drove to their marae where family and friends were hands on with preparations to give these two a day to remember and that is was!

Tareha and Ihipera, I hope you enjoyed your wedding day as much as we all did. Everything about your wedding, your beautiful family and friends were simply beautiful. Congratulations to a very special couple. You two, your wedding and guests will always be big in our hearts, we feel truely grateful to have been there along side you.  Kathy and Amy xx

D-Photo Magazine

Hello, is it really June already?, eeeek it is hardly the beginning of the year where I keep thinking we are. It is a very exciting June for me and I am absolutely thrilled to be featured in the June/July 2016 issue of D-Photo Magazine where I talk about my passion for all things photography, what it meant to me from an early age and how it grew from there until now.

I also talk about our Photography Club.   The Bay of Islands - Kaikohe Photography Club, we meet in Kerikeri once a month if there are any passionate photographers that wish to join us. We welcome new members and you are not required to be a professional to join our local club, there are members of all skill sets who simply enjoy photography. Please feel free to get in touch if this sounds like you.

Hello

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, and here we have it...No. 1 BLOG!

I hope you will enjoy your journey with us. I am Kathy, from Kerikeri in the beautiful Bay of Islands. We adore living here, and love our children growing up here in this magical town, even if it sometimes happening far too fast indeed for my liking :-)  I am super excited to be meeting many more of you and photographing your beautiful families. I look forward to capturing those special moments and making you a record for you to hold on to forever.

My absolute passion in life outside of family is photography, photography, photography, with a special love of photographing children, families and I simply love a good wedding! It is important for me to capture the magical moments in all of our lives and those that make up your'e world unique to you. I have realised with my own children how quickly time really does fly so incredibly fast and it is my honour and absolute joy to be able to make these memories something special for you too, to treasure forever.
