Picking your wedding dress and accessories can be alot of fun and ever so important but there's one critical accessory you shouldn't look over: wedding shoes!
"But!" some say, "No one even sees the shoes!" Not true, dear bride. Not true. There are many times in which a bride's shoes are in the spotlight on their wedding day. Whether it be because she's wearing a short or sheer dress; if the photographer wants to take a close-up shot of your gorgeous soles; if your guests just have to take a peak at your feet and if you plan on hiking up your dress to dance, there's always a reason why you have to come prepared with pretty shoes.
But you can't just choose any old shoe. Brides have to think of comfort (so important), the height of the heel, whether you want a flat, what colour and what kind of fabric. All of these things of course are up to you.
As like wearing any new shoe, I recommend you try and lightly wear your wedding shoes before the big day on several different occasions. Being in the wonderful Bay of Islands where we see many beach weddings and shoe choices are matched to the beach, it is still important to have made sure they will be comfortable and not irritate in any way.
